Rooted by Ramsay began from founder Ramsay Johnson's love for thrifting and creating art. After finishing her Bachelor in the Fine Arts, Ramsay moved to the Emerald Coast.  

As time passed she found new inspiration from her natural surroundings in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, which became the backdrop to her creative designs. Ramsay combines her longtime love of thrifting and appreciation for printmaking in Rooted by Ramsay.

Rooted by Ramsay's name is derived from a time of reflection of Ramsay's walk in her faith, her local community, and her natural surroundings. As she began creating designs, she wanted each piece to carry a deeper meaning: finding life in the forgotten. 

Each block is designed and hand carved. Each piece of clothing is specifically and ethically sourced and repurposed. Each necklace is intentionally handmade. Each print and painting is original.
